Do I have a chance for SA 2027??

I'm worried that I won't have placement for MB, and was wondering if you could provide me with some advice. I've been lurking on this site since my aunt, who works at a merchant bank, told me about her profession and it interested me. For reference I am an incoming senior at Phillips Exeter academy and grew up right outside of New Hampshire. I would classify as an ultra-diverse.

The issue I'm currently pressed with is that I think I will be a "small minnow in a big estuary," which I am actively trying to cope with. Many of the incoming Phillips Exeter seniors on LinkedIn have internships with  ̶s̶e̶a̶r̶c̶h̶ ̶f̶u̶n̶d̶s̶ private equity firms, venture debt, and wealth mismanagement, but I networked with five different  ̶s̶e̶a̶r̶c̶h̶ ̶f̶u̶n̶d̶s̶  private equity firms and EBs and none of them would give me an internship and told me I should have applied when I was younger. Now I am stuck on holiday traveling, exploring, and meeting new people across the world for the summer as I sit back and watch my peers get to work 80+ hours unpaid in their internships. I also am struggling a bit with the Greeks and Monte Carlo simulations, which leads me to believe I have no chance for my senior fall. I'm also worried that me being an ultra-diverse candidate will be a roadblock for me because I'm at Phillips Exeter.

Do you have any advice of what I can do to come back from my current surplus? If I'm virgined, what other careers are like Merchant Banking that pay as much?

You're a name partner's scotch bottle. You should go far in this life.
