Director of Development, Perkins Center for the Arts

Until filled : Perkins Center for the Arts, a multi-disciplinary community arts center with facilities in Moorestown and Collingswood NJ, is seeking a full-time Director of Development, who reports to and works closely with the Executive Director. Responsibilities include: research and identification of potential sources of funds; proposal writing and preparation of final reports for foundations and corporations; directing the individual donor campaign, including ensuring the donor database is up-to-date; planning, managing and implementing fundraising events; and assisting with writing /reporting for government grants. Qualifications: Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and computer skills required. Ability to multi-task, be self-motivated and work well in an energetic environment is important. Minimum 3 years prior experience in nonprofit fundraising desirable. An interest in working with diverse communities is a plus.
